Shannon Carroll is a Brooklyn-based artist and documentary media producer. She works with visual media and digital technology to foster storytelling, community engagement and human rights advocacy. Her creative roots lie in photography, and her current work involves filmmaking, web design, installation and interactive media.
Carroll is currently a Collaborative Fellow at UnionDocs, a Center for Documentary Art, and a Web Producer at POV on PBS in their Webby-Award winning Digital Department.
She attended Tufts University and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and additionally studied at Emerson College and the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
